About Sleeve Gastrectomy
The gastric sleeve procedure usually takes between one and two hours. General anaesthetic will be administered, and the surgeon will usually be able to work laparoscopically, which means you will only need small keyhole incisions. Following surgery, the average person will lose around 50 to 60% of their extra weight when following a carefully planned diet. This will however make sticking to your diet a little easier.
